Probably the 5670 will be the cheapest one ? The performance difference isn't that big, so go with the cheapest i think. Depends on how big the price difference is.

When you mean by low resolution. How low ? 800X600, 1024X768 etc ?
For that money I'd get the HD 6670. It's about 5000 INR. So you should get that.
For the rest 2500 INR, the PSU I'd suggest you would be the Corsair CX430 W PSU.

i will play at 1024*786
like i said i don't mind the low setting all i want is that the new games should run without lagging or freezing
i don't have bank account so i cant it buy online
ati 5670 is costing me 6500 INR where i live
and local shop don't have ati 6670 they have to order it
so
either i have to go to Mumbai search for shops for ati 6670 and buy it
or have to settle for the ati 5670 for 6500INR and buy a average psu
which i really don't want

Wow, 6500INR for a HD 6670. That's really costly. In which part of India do you live ?
I live in Kerala, and a HD 6670 costs only about 4500INR.

You could try buying the card from online sites like ebay.in

1st. Radeon HD 6670 is better than HD 5670 in every and most tests in Gamin.

2nd. The price of Sapphire Radeon HD 6670 is Rs 6600 in INR.

3nd. You wont need any decent PSU to run either of the cards. If you have a generic PSU say from iball with 450W, you will be fine then.

Hope this helps.
Thanks.

Sorry. The real price of Radeon HD 6670 is only Rs 5600. Not Rs6600, I will suggest you to visit some other shops and ask for price updates.

HD 6670 is about 10-15% faster than a HD 5670 and both cards don't require an external pci-e connector.
THe XFX HD 6670 is about 4500INR where I live.

@OP, can you try another/different shop ?

my psu is iball lpe 223-400 (under +12v its 17A don't know what that )
i don't know it will run 5670 or 6670 as they do not require external power supply
i am looking in for more shops where i could buy ati 6670 at about 6 to 6.5 k
even i buying any one of the graphics card i have to buy a psu as i can't take a risk with iball psu

Never take a risk. If thats the matter then, your budget is Rs 7500.

So you get HD 6670 for Rs 6600. And take a iBall 450W PSU for Rs 1000-1500. So total Rs 7500.

Change ur shop dude, 6600INR is too much for HD6670.

me too living in india & about to buy a HD6750 for 6600INR maybe less.

One more thing i personally suggest u to go with a decent psu atleast Corsair CX430 cause these generic ones can fails any time frying ur motherboard

trust me,recently i was a victim of these psu

I wouldn't recoomend an iBall 450 W PSU.
Even if a HD 6670 doesn't need an external pci-e connector, a generic PSU that of iBall's is something I'd rather avoid. They won't stay long as you think it might and it might not even have warranty.

But i can say he will be fine. As i have seen people using generic PSU to run those cards for years without any problem. But if OP can take out some more money from his pocket then he can get a decent PSU from CM, Corsair, Antec etc.

I'm a victim of a bad PSU from iball as well.
It didn't quite well stay for a year itself. It died 2 months ago. And that's when I got my CM 600 W PSU. :)
I still recommend the OP to get the Corsair CX430 W PSU.

You may be able to get Corsair CX430 W PSU(28A on +12v rail) around RS 2500
&
HD 5670 around RS 5000 may be less

This set up does cost u RS (7500-7700).

while hd6670 will cost u RS 6000

and there are some other psu the brand is "VIP" if any one know about it
but where i leave graphics card are a little costly
if any one of u know is there any place in Mumbai where i can personally go and buy a 6670 or 5670 ?
Mumbai is like 1 day return trip form where i live
but i hardy know where they sell graphics card in mumbai
i did visit some of the shops here they hardly know the difference between ddr5 and ddr3 all they ask me was do i have a slot for graphics card in the mother board
and most replied they have to contact their supplier and ask about it
so i have told them to ask the supplier about ati 5670 or 6670 GDDr5 price
they will let me know tomorrow

Well, if there is a Corsair CX430 W PSU, then definitely go for one. :)
VIP's 500W PSUs are good. But you wouldn't need one.

As I suggested, you could try out online shopping. Or if you're unsure about it, then don't.
