Hey guys, I have a Dell Vostro 200 along with some other computers but the Vostro's CPU Fan (not the case fan) is REALLY loud! I can here it from the room underneath me, I could do with some suggestions on how to quiet it down and also would like to know what my options in terms of upgrading the cpu to something with a little more power.

Use either speedfan (free software) or check the dell bios for a program called smartfan. You can also use an rpm adjuster, such as the zalman fanmate series: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 835118217.
