  1. get a router.

connect the router to the modem and then connect the two PC via network cable to the router.
  2. If the games don't need internet access you could just run a crossover version of an ethernet cable between the two computers.
  3. my friend tell me that i need natrual network cable which socket is Crosst
& he said that i dont need internet connection .is that right
  4. The principal is:

connection from a computer to a router = regular (straight through) cable

connection from computer to computer = crossover cable

However some modern computers have auto-sensing sockets so can switch and work with a regular cable between two computers.

Try any ethernet cable and see if Windows detects the connection.

If you don't need internet connection, then an ethernet cable (even having to buy a crossover cable) will cost less than a router.
  5. The cheapest way to play without disconnection internet is for your friend to buy a $10 network card and share internet connection with you via ICS in Windows.
Or you can get a $15 router from Fry's...
