Regardless of my build, I was wondering which is the better supply for a system that will run ivy bridge + kepler (April). I will not be using crossfire or SLI, so that is kind of null, but I have had PSU's fail in the past and cause lovely random shutdowns (OCZ), so please let me know which of these is a better PSU. Thanks!

Just would like to know, is the 9.01$ extra worth it for the PC P&C?

Thank you!

If these both are absurd for my build without Xfire/SLI, please direct me to a better suited PSU for a build requiring possibly less wattage!

Solution
Don't get that ocz unit^^ Get the pc power and cooling one. It will work for multiple builds, depending on what you are putting in your system.

They are both made by Seasonic.

So the real question is: Do you want a Seasonic 650 Bronze rated unit, or a Seasonic 750 Silver rated unit?

eta: 750 is a bit of overkill for a system without SLI/Crossfire. You can probably get away with a 550 or lower depending on what kind of graphics card you have.

It depends greatly on the graphics card, but a 550 unit will handle most singular graphics card setups. The OCZ Fatalit1y 550 psu, while not a bad unit by any means, is not the same quality as the Seasonic units.

Apevia makes psu shaped door stops... don't waste your money.
