1000 watt extreme gaming atx power supply

The above is my worrying point for this build, ask for exactly what make of PSU it is this is very very important, also scrap the Killer card there an expensive gimmick and don't actually work.

is this a good build???
i5 2500k processor- Ok
asus maximum IV extreme - Ok
1000 watt extreme gaming atx power supply- 1000 Watts is probably overkill. A good quality 850 Watt would be more than enough.
corsair h100 cpu liquid cooling system- IMO water kits are a waste of money. I would just do a custom water loop
sata 2tb hard drive- A 2 TB HDD is again probably going to be overkill. I have I don't know how many games installed on a 1 TB HDD and it's no where near full.
AMD radeon hd 6950 video card- Thats good but if you cut out some of the things I mentioned as overkill you can probably up that to a 6970.
sony 24x multi optical drive-
kingston 8g RAM memory-
cm storm trooper series case
asus xonar sound card
killer 2100 gaming network card
logitech g19 keyboard cyborg R.A.T. mouse
advanced g-13 gamepad
logitech subwoofer speakers
vespula mouse pad
120gb SSD

Everything else looks ok but I wouldn't spend the money on a network card or sound card. The onboard sound card and NIC are really good enough

A little overkill I would think.

1] I would at least just settle on a 2600K for longivity which will be longer than the 2500K

2] PSU 1000W really?

3] 6950 makes me want to cry.

4] 2TB HDD, what for? your porn stash?

Um, what? Are you suggesting going for an i5-2500K build and then replacing the CPU, mobo, RAM and GPU later on? Why on earth are you doing that?
