I am building a new gamer PC but am on a it of a budget I'd fond the fx-6100 for 159.99 but was wondering if there is a huge difference from the fx-4100 other than the quad to six core differrence. Is it worth it to spend the extra 50 bucks for the six core?? Please help

do you have a the motherboard already? if not i would go with a Intel setup. I have been a AMD guy forever and even have a 955 overclocked to 4ghz... the only thing is that i just read this review: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-fx-pentium-a...
Intel's i3-2100 beats the 955 overclocked. not by much, but enough to where i say get a 1155 motherboard with a i3-2100 and get a i5-2500k one day when you want to upgrade. The review should also answer your question![;)]( ";)")
