Im getting an antec 300 illusion case with a 2500k and a 6950. I'm a little unsure as to what mobo I should grab. I plan on going Crossfire down the road with dual 6950s but the mobo lingo is confusing. Which would be ideal?

or

This AsRock board http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

I'm talking in terms of "space" and performance.

What about the PCI slots, someone was saying something about 3.0 capabilities coming out within the next few months.

When intel socket 1155 mbs run two cards in either crossfire or SLi the slots are running at x8 , instead of x16 .
And it makes no detectable difference to performance .

When you go to pci-e 3.0 x16 you double the bandwidth of ...which is technically interesting ..but since current graphics cards are not restricted by half the bandwidth of pci-e 2.0 x16 .......
..its just a meaningless number

and will be till after your processor is obsolete

yes indeed. AsRock is Gen3, Gigabyte is Native Gen3 which is not the same. Means it will run the gen3 cards with a bios flash but the pci slot itself isn't gen3.
