WINDOWS WILL NOT START

Hello,
I've changed the motherboard battery for my desk top and now it wont go beyond the " we apologize for the inconvenience, but windows did not start successfully. Aecent hardware or software change might have cause this" i didn't do anything different than what i usually do. what can i do to fix this?

Check BIOS settings, as you reset the CMOS. For some reason, your primary boot drive may have reset to an undesignated boot drive.

Re-set your bios settings to what you had them set to before.

Likely it's a bios boot setting or a memory voltage setting.
