hello all ,
i want to buy a computer that can max out any game releasing until the end of 2011 @ 1080p
so please help me

Approximate Purchase Date: by nov 12

Budget Range: $1000 + monitor

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Maxing out games releasing by the end of 2011 ,
playing games at high until 2012 without upgrades

Parts Not Required: os , mouse , keyboard , printer , speakers (basically only the computer case and monitor)

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: i prefer newegg but i wont be buying online , buying from nehru place (if anyone knows )probably getting discounts

Country of Origin: India

Parts Preferences: personally i like Intel and nvidia , please tell whats the best and cheap . i searched the internet and i was thinking about Gigabyte GTX 560 Ti SLi , i5-2500k (for oc). please recommend me other parts .
i prefer uefi bios , DDR3 - 1600(PC3-12800) , SATA 6GB/s 7200 rpm ,will be add one more SLI so need a motherboard capable.if they are not necessary then i don't need them but i found them important

Overclocking: not now , but yes within 2-3 years

SLI or Crossfire: yes ,but in future not now (tell me a power supply enough for just now )

Monitor Resolution: 1080p - 1920 x 1080

Additional Comments: don't want fancy case , but i would like a window if that's not so expensive . fancy should be graphics xD .
it would be better if i can connect with WiFi at least and Bluetooth(not very important but WiFi is very important). need dvd writer ofc . i don't need tbs of space ; i play one game at a time , so no use of huge amounts of space. don't tell me CPU cooler or discrete heat sink coz i wont be overclocking now so stock would be enough.never thought about a SSD

thankks all for help
please help me fast dieing to play battlefield 3 :)

I agree with master.. by getting a 560ti, you will not only blow away any game today graphic wise.. but when you get the money, just buy a second and SLI it.. You will not only nearly double you performance (about 80% increase in performance in SLI), but you will match the FPS of the 580 at a much cheaper price..

Also, you can put that saved money into better parts for the rest of the computer :)

I never liked cooler master in any regard. Cheap mainstream products of dubious quality for the masses. That being said on the other hand you got corsair, thermaltake and antec with quality mainstream products.

Thermaltake MSI Commander offers oh-so-many places to put fans. Tool-less installation of drives, easy to cut off the grills and minimize noise, bottom positioning of psu + nice filter there which a lot of cases lack. My fav setup of rear+top exhausts along with front and bottom intakes for normalized pressure in the rig will grant you amazing airflow without turbulances (side window fans). Pretty solid, good looking, same price as cm.
Antec 300 illusion is also a good alternative. No bottom intake but a second front intake. Not my favorite setup but it works.

Heatsink. For 8$ more you get the Corsair A70. 2x120 fans, outstanding thermal paste (not the rubbish CM ships), -8 delta in comparison with the hyper 212, bulkier and less noisy. Installation is so easy that it makes mugen 2 mounting seem like golgotha.

Ram. This is high profile, go for low profile so that your A70 clears it. (and if you insist on that average joe of a hyper 212, you wont have to compromise it's already mediocre performance by moving the fans higher.

GFX is great. I would pick 570 for sli down the road (that would require a 850watt psu) or a 6950 for the same reason.

if i sli 560 or 560 ti
i wont be able to add another one
i think ed of 570 , but i need a one time buy for 2 years
then go for SLI
with 580 , i will be able to max out any game withing 2 year
so i take 580 , but if i can really max out bf3 at 1080p at (35 frames min , and 50 average ) then i can think of a 570

and to master , i don't really need such expensive monitor , also i said $1000 + monitor . so i mean that $1000(the CPU box) only and a monitor is not included in the $1000 .
so if i turn down a mobo i may get a cheaper solution , but will it hurt performance in a big way ?
i wont be buying online so will i get mir and the batman game ?
i don't think i really need a heat sink and cooler cuz i said wont be overclocking . i will see about them when i am going to overclock.
i don't think there is any other cheaper hdd out there according to my requirements , as i said i dont need much space , so i don't think it is worth it if a cheaper solution is available .
i saw a seagate barracuda.it got sata 6gb/s 7200 rpm , which i think is the best .but is sata 6 gb/s required over sata 3gb/s ?

Note to mastervivi10 :- the gpu links to the one i chose not the gigabyte 580 oc

You really don't need the 580 for 1080p ultra settings. The 570 is more than enough and is amazing. Personally, I'd get a 470 OC'd or a 560ti OC'd or a 6950 and unlock and OC it to 6970+ and then save my money.

The next gen of Nvidia cards have a completely different architecture and are going to be leaps and bounds above the current gen, but they won't release until Q3 or Q4 2012. Get a card that will run all games at High-Ultra and save up for the sweet $500 card in a year.

dont tell me which would be necessary in future please-
all i need in this build is-
1.mobo-catch wifi , sli support 570 / 580 (not sure now),support oc both (z68 possibly),support intel k series
2.gfx-max out any game within 2 years and still add another one in future.no sli now
3.psu-just to run everything smooth, psu degrades over time so when i plan to oc , i will change this also . so dont tell me psu that is needed to oc and sli
4.cpu-just enough to do everyday work and kick ass games for 3-4 years .
5.hdd-fast , min -250gb
6.case - cool and cheap (maybe a window if that doesnt cut down budget
7.keep in mind that i am going to sli , oc , upgrade anything only after 2 years , not now.

LOL.. ok ... well.. GL with getting one with a built in wifi receiver and SLI.. the WiFi is usually only on mini ATX boards...

i would pick up the sabertooth.. great board and super cool

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131702

Gskill is fine.. i would suggest only get 8GB though

I said go with 64MB cache drive or 500GB hybrid.. like this one

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148591

Antec 900 is a good case for ya.. Although.. i not a fan of the mesh

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129021

but.. the case should be really your preference on taste.. the 900 is a common one though. lots of people get it.

u dont need heatsink

get corsair 650w PSU.. should be good

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139020

tada! dont

SSD will NOT increase FPS.. only load times (how quickly a map will load or game start) thats it..

a Hybrid drive WILL give you good performance for the money. They are far cheaper than a SSD but much faster than a normal HDD.

Once a game is loaded into RAM (temporary storage) the hard drive is no longer used in the game.. only CPU/RAM/Video card are used. The only time a game will call upon a hard drive to to load a new game or map etc..

You will be very disappointed if you just get an SSD i promise.. I pick up a 128GB one for my laptop. filled it in a month and i had to install a second HDD just to keep from having to uninstall a game to install another.. it's annoying.

well.. here is the hybrid drive

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148704

500GB is good for you.. tbh.. for only have one drive in your computer, it will fill up i promise ;)

Nice thing about hybrids is that the most common things you access (lets say your windows 7 Operating system, Call of Duty, Battlefield 3, and firefox) will be stored on the Solid State part of the drive, while other files that you dont use much (movies, pictures, music etc) will be stored on the hard drive platter.. This way. windows will load in about 25 seconds, and you games and firefox will load almost instantly.

HDD's are getting real expensive (due to the flooding in japan)

I LOVE 64MB cache HDD's.. with that cache, they are very fast and have the best load times than any other hard drive.

The cheapest i found is this 500GB 7200 RPM drive for $129

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136697

but.. if you want to go with the slower 32MB cache drive, here is a 750GB for just over $100

For all this and sugar on top (since you won't be upgrading for the next 2 years and when you do you will sli) the GA-Z68XP-UD3. It doesn't have wifi, but this does: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833704045

Ok gfx cards. You already have your answer, you want the 580 so go get it. Truth behind this? Whatever you get won't matter. You can get 2x6950 for the same price and seriously outperform that 580. Even 2x6870 will outperform the 580 for less money! In two years? In two years we are talking a whole different scene with cards that will make what you buy now for 500 seem like what a 4850 does today. Will any of these setups work for 2 years on everything maxed? I bet it will. I am talking from experience here. I DID get a 4850 2 years ago with much your kind of thoughts in my mind. It still plays great and no question about it, i can play my games and all on what is now my girlfriend's computer. Would i xfire it with another 4850 now? It is a rhetorical question but it shows the error of your logic.

i5 2500k and you are fine

hdd any of the wd caviar black/samsung f3/seagate barracuda 7200.12 sata2 or sata3 it doesnt matter. Lowest $ per giga. F3 is the fastest. I advise against momentus xt since you can just get a 30gb ssd and have it caching and will be better than the momentus.

we already debated about the cases. want the best of the best? get a lian li. Otherwise just settle with a budget solution you find pleasing to the eye.

Hey helpy.. Lian Li is a very expensive brand. Although their cases are very well made. There are tons of alternatives to them however..

My personal favorite is the Corsair Obsidian 650..

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811139006

Here are Neweggs LianLi cases..

i was thinking of 2 Gb 6950s in CrossfireX.
i have seen benchmarks and it shows that it is overall better than 560 it sli and double fps in metro 2033.
i have seen in some cases it is even better than 6990 and 590 . overall it is good for me.

1 ques- will an amd processor with amd gfx will perform faster than intel cpu nad amd gfx.

if i want both cards to run at x16 is there any special mobo for that or all mobos will have x8/x8 in dual mode ?
if there is that can run both at x16 (6950s) , please tell the one compatible with i5-2500k
