I need good enough for web development, hadn't bought in a long time.

Hi, My old board, a ASUS P4P-800, is giving it up. I need to upgrade, but I haven't paid any attention to hardware since I bought my last one. I'm old and don't do any gaming. I just do web dev., photoshop, illustrator, and play net radio, and play a video once and a while. The only thing I really want is to have enough ram so that PS, Illustrator, and anti virus can all run and I not crash anything. I don't want the best. Don't want the cheapest. I want good enough. I've always bought Asus boards with exception to one Abit. I just don't know what to avoid any more.

I would like to use my XP os, to keep the spending down, and keep the spending down as much as I can and still get quality stuff. BTW, I'm not an AMD fan.

Can if anyone has any suggestions on a good enough board and cpu, I'd much appreciate it.
