GTX 560 Ti 2Gb SLI ideal PSU

I have the following setup

Intel Core i5 2500k
Gigabyte GA-Z68MX-UD2H-B3
Seagate Barracuda 500 GB
Corsair XMS 8 GB RAM
Gearhead DVD drive
Corsair TX750 V2
Gigabyte HD 5770 Super OC (not mine)
4 thermaltake case fans 2 w/ control knobs

Would it be possible to run a GTX 560 Ti 2Gb SLI with my PSU? Or would I have to go with the 1Gb models? I plan to give the video card back to the guy who lend it to me until I got my own GPU.

  1. Should not be a problem at all the 750tx Corsair PSU is a good one to have. You should have no issues at all.

** Edit ** Just realized that you were asking if a 2gb version would run instead of a 1 gb version? Either will work fine. I thought you might've been talking about running 2 x 2gb's 560 Ti's (SLI), which the Corsair 750tx would handle them just fine too. Either way your covered :)
  2. The extra 1GB of VRAM makes a negligible difference as far as power consumption is concerned.
