overriding the 8pin connector of the VGA

i have a hx620W PSU and i only have 2 6pin pcie connectors without an 8 pin. (i have a 9800GX2 that requires 6+8pin)

so if anyone can show me how to connect the 2 grounds in the 8pin connector so the card can work i will highly appreciate it.

oh and i couldnt find any 6 to 8pin adapters here in israel so instead of ordering one from the US i will try to "mod" the connector.

Have you checked the box your video card came in? I would expect there to have been a converter cable in there, maybe from 2 molex to 8 pin PCI-e. Otherwise you will have to search harder or buy from abroad.

It's not worth the risk, if the box don't include a converter, buy one. Those things are cheap.
