Dx for a friend. I'll get any info requested

Friend of mine has a 6 core AMD (not sure of the clock speed) on a Sabretooth 990fx board. Tonight his PC crashed while launching BF3, and now after bios splash on power it just shuts down after 20 seconds. No post code. He tried pulling all the memory, trying 1 stick in each slot (using all 4 sticks) and no joy. Any potential ideas? It was overclocked. Running a 6950 GPU.
