Hi

I am planning to make a pc that can play games like diablo 3 (when it comes out) and first person shooters.
So far, this is what I am planning to buy

-Phenom II X4 965

-GIGABYTE GA-970A-UD3 AM3+ AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

-G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666)

-GIGABYTE GV-N560UD-1G GeForce GTX 560 Ti (Fermi) 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

Is this build too much or too little for those kind of games?
And also, how many watts should my power supply have?

What do you guys recommend? :bounce:

Thanks!

I have to go with AMD because i am on a tight budget
what are good video cards in the 200-250 range?

and with all this, how many watts should my power supply have?

I would absolutely say go with the 560Ti if not a 570 or a 6950.

Step your ram up to 1600MHz since there is only a minimal price difference, but other than that it looks good.

You dont really need much of a power supply here, at peak load with your processor overclocked you will still only need a 500W PSU, that is still giving you a good bit of overhead and im sure you can find one for pretty cheap. I would snatch one of these http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139027 up while they have a deal on them...$40 after MIR.
