Upgrading Desktop

I want to upgrade my pc. I have a Core 2 Duo E8500 @ 3.16 Ghz, 4 Gb 1066 DDR 2 ram, Windows 7 64bit, Gigabyte GTX 275 graphics card.
My options are: 1. i5 2500k Proccessor, motherboard to match, 4Gb 1333 DDR3 ram.
or
2. Gigabyte GTX 570 Windforce
I am into GAMING. I want graphic speed and quality in my games. Can anybody tell me witch option to take please

Option 3 which is the comination of 1and 2 and increase the ram to at least 8 gb or more , since you have Win 64bit it will use all the ram that is installed an that OS would be better with more ram.
However if you are on a budget then option 2. A new graphics card will make a bigger impact.

I would get a decent Quad Core and Keep the 275 for the while as it still kicks a$$ in most games

What do you think of my option 1?

I upgraded my Proc to i5 2500k, ram to 8gb 1333 and motherboard to Gigabyte z68. awesome. no jerks (stuttering) in games played at 1920 x 1080. I think my previous proc and ram was bottlenecking my Graph card. 3d mark vantage graph up from +/- 11500 to 12700 and proc up from +/- 5600 to +/- 11500. 3dmark score up from P9374 to P12822. I am happy for now, still want to upgrade to GTX 570 later. Thanks.
