NVIDIA 9800 GTX

I get a notice from nVidia, Not enough power on boot up
even with the two power plugs are connected to the card from the power supply

What PSU brand and model are you using? Do you know the 12v rail amps. ?

9800GTX needs around 12 amps, peaking to 15 amps to power it adequately.

A relatively simple system (quad core CPU, 2 HD's and an optical, average motherboard) will need a bare minimum of about 30 amps available on the 12 volt rails.
