ASUS Crosshair V Formula Help

So my friend had this motherboard, but he upgraded and i got it now, but i have an intel i5 2500 is there any way i can use this motherboard then with my i5 2500?

you have to be more specific as to what socket type the motherboard is lga 2011 or lga 1155
i5 2500 is lga 1155
