Hi. I recently installed a new power supply (Corsair CX430) and a new graphics card (MSI GTX GeForce 650).
The desktop that I currently have is a HP p6710f with a AMD Athlon X4 640 Quad-Core with 4GB of RAM.
Today and yesterday, when I would play a game, about 10-20 minutes into the game the computer would freeze and a BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ sound would come from the speakers.
Yesterday when it happened, I received a blue screen saying that windows encountered a fatal error.
Today when it happened, the game just froze and the sound came from the speakers but nothing would happen even if I did ctrl+alt+delete or alt+tab.
However, after the computer freezes, I tried to restart the computer. But, when I turned it back on, the computer itself would turn on but the monitor would just be in "sleep mode" with a blank black screen.
I was told that it might be because of a faulty motherboard. But this never happened before I put in the new power supply and graphics card. So I held the power button to my computer for 15 seconds, start it up again, and it worked. But he told me that if it happened again within 10 days, my motherboard is messed up.
If it matters, I play the games with max everything graphics-wise.
