Looking at a getting a new monitor

I was looking at Newegg and saw 2 monitors that I am thinking of getting but dont know which is better.

Should I get this:

ASUS VH236H Black 23" 2ms Full HD Widescreen LCD Monitor w/ Speakers 300 cd/m2 20000 :1 (ASCR)

or this:

ASUS VH242H Black 23.6" 5ms HDMI Full 1080P Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 ASCR 20000:1 (1000:1) W/Speakers

They are pretty much the same. I doubt you'd notice the difference.

Obliviously, the bigger one is bigger.

The smaller one has a faster response time, so it might show motion a hair more clearly, and it has speakers.
