Hello,
I am trying to update the AMI BIOS on my P5B Deluxe.
I have downloaded the updated BIOS version from ASUS website and loaded onto a flash drive, set the boot order to look at the flash drive first on boot. On restart, I activate the ASUS EZ Flash 2 utility but find no way of pointing this utility to the .ROM file on the flash drive. Any suggestions?

first load the asus auto update version 7.09.03 then install it load the bios rom on the desktop and use the auto update to install it http://ca.asus.com/en/Motherboards/Intel_Socket_775/P5B...

Thanks for your help. The indication is that the auto update version 7.09.03 is for 64 bit systems. I have 32-bit Windows 7. Is there an auto update version for mine?

I feel like a real dufuss. Did not realize there was an update program for update via Windows. I have followed your suggestion and the update is done. Thanks for your help.
