Xeon x3450 hyperthreading

Hello,
Anyone know how I can enable hyperthreading using this processor? I'm guessing it's a setting in the BIOS.. Using Win7 pro 64bit.

Hyperthreading is enabled/disabled in the BIOS. Have you looked? What model MB (maker and model) do you have?

In your BIO's it might be abbreviated to "HT".

and it's always enabled by default.

In your BIOS, there should be a setting to change the HT/HyperThreading to enabled, look around

It maybe be in the northbridge settings. It does depend on your motherboard though.

What MB are you using for this ? Its is Socket 1156, but just because it fits doesn't mean it will work well.
