What kind of ddr3 ram for GA-970A-D3 motherboard

I have a GA-970A-D3 motherboard and just got a phenom 2 965 be chip.I now want to look for ram. thinking 8 gig will work good for a long time with the games i play but was told that i have to be sure about the ddr3 ram i use as some makes don't work on my board. so my question is what ddr3 ram will work best and not break the bank? thank you for your help in advance.
