Recently bought and built a whole new PC. Installing all of the drivers off of the cds, then updated them.

Tested out Crysis on my computer and getting horizontal lines on my screen.
I have tried multiple things like different monitors/outputs and the same result still occurs.
I recorded myself playing, and when i viewed the recording there were no horizontal lines.
This makes me believe it has something to either do with the graphics card or my disc drive.
I haven't changed any of the original settings on the graphics card, All i have done is simply unbox it and tried all of the above.
Also tried out dead space and got the same results.

the specs:
Intel Core i5-2500K 3.30GHz (Sandybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor - Retail
MSI ATI Radeon HD 6950 Twin FrozR II OC 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
Coolermaster Hyper 212 Plus CPU Cooler
1TB Samsung HD103SJ SpinPoint F3 SATA-II 3.5" Hard Drive
Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD3P Intel Z68 (REV B3) Socket 1155 DDR3 PCI-Express Motherboard

Sony Optical DVD Writer, AD-7260S-0B, SATA, Black, OEM

Currently connected is a dvi cable going to the graphics card.

Please can you point me to help!!!

Found the problem. Its screen tearing does anyone know any msi/ati apps which will force vsync to stop this from occuring.
