I am putting together my first build. It will also be our first gaming machine. I want to spend under $200 after rebates. Can you tell me which card you would choose on the newegg site? As this is my first build I want a company with good customer service for when I run into problems so please take that into account as well as performance. Thanks!

I suggest the gtx 560 non ti, specifically the twin frozr ii edition...I got it at newegg for 180 after MIR, which they quickly sent to me...card overclocks great up to ti level...currently i have it overclocked to the point that i rarely see under 30fps in crysis 2 maxed out (DX11 and high res textures)....card performs above its value if you overclock, which is a breeze now with afterburner and this cards cooling

suggest checking out reviews on this version, you'll see it outperforms others in its class

@Zero
Incidentally I have an HD 5770 in my desktop as well, and after updating drivers to 11.8, I have absolutely no issues at all. If you could provide me your minidumps, I can read them and try to figure out what may be the issue.

@Lone
I would suggest you to have a look at this Geforce 560 Ti, it will cost you 190$ after mail in rebate + shipping.

As the first two parts of my build, I just purchased an i7-2600k and this motherboard:

MSI P67A-GD65 (B3) LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

da305kratos:
The video card you suggest is also MSI. Is there any benefit to purchasing a video card that is by the same manufacturer (MSI)? Maybe makes overclocking easier (I've never done it before).

Archean:
Is PNY a common manufacturer with good customer support?

in regards to the MSI question, i honestly havent read or heard where that would matter...the reason i suggest this card in particular is because of the custom cooling...my card playing on hours barely reaches 63C overclocked
