Will I lose performance if I Install Ram to a different color slot?

I just purchsed an Asus P9X79 Delux board and 4x 8GB dimms of Ram. The mobo instructions state for "better compatibility" install the RAM into slots A1, B1, C1, D1 (all of the blue sl;ots). I have 8 slots total; the others being black and labeled A2, B2, C2, D2. I know I need to install the RAM into all of the same color slots however will it make a difference if I install to the black rather than blue slots? My memory has massive heat sinks that get in the way of my radiator and connected fan. Moving the modules to the other slots will allow me to install the radiator (H80i).

So far my research indicates that if I see any speed reduction it would be VERY minimal. Anyone else have experience with this?
