Hey guys. I recently got myself an ASUS GTX 570 2DI and I've run into some problems.
When I installed the thing, the computer turned on without a hitch and such but the resolution would not go any higher than 1280 x 1024.
Now, I've installed all the NVIDIA drivers straight from the NVIDIA website and they installed without a hitch. Restarted my computer, and still the same problem.
I went into my device manager and it shows the GTX 570 with a warning sign icon next to it. I click properties and it shows the "Code 43" error.
I've read around and heard people saying that this is a hardware malfunction. I certainly hope not b/c I just bought the GTX 570 brand new.. I hope I don't have to return this thing already.
I've also heard that this is a driver problem and that the drivers for the device did not install properly.
Here are my specs:
- Athlon II X4 635
- GIGABYTE GA-870A-UD3 AM3 AMD 870 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
- OCZ ModXStream Pro 600W
- G.SKILL 4 GB RAM
- ASUS GTX 570 2DI
Please help! Anything will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
