I have gigabyte mobo GA-G31M-ES2L(rev2.4) support pcie1.0a and i want to install a graphic card of ati radeon hd 5670 1 gb ddr5...now i am confused is this mobo will support it or not because someone told me that graphic card having pcie 2.0 is not compatible to pcie 1.0a or not run perfectly...please tell me what to do as my budget is limited.

All PCIE 2.00 cards are backwards compatible, the only reason the slot changed from 1.0 to 2.0 was for greater bandwidth - which I believe will make little or no difference in performance.

yep hes 100% correct, and with a 5670 you should be completely fine! BTW whats your current PSU and CPU? that may hinder performance/card may not work at all if your PSU cant power the card.
