build i was told to get but the mobo has some horrible reviews which conerns me should i get a different mobo im not conerned with 3.0 because i was told most graphics cards wont utilize all the lanes in 16 slot so having double would be pointless if they are not being utilized any suggestions would be awesome need to get info asap need to have this bought by tomorrow morning

  1. go to the top of the forums, read the stickies, ask again so we can have a better understanding of what you want and how much your willing to spen
  2. Ah good okay got something to work with now, seems like you didnt like the Sept 2011 build so I'll start working on a custom one. Do you like blue LED or red?

  7. Alright here is what I think would work great for you, your links are broken so I couldnt tell what parts you were talking about on newegg. Besides that I hope you like and you have one hell of a case too bad it does have LEDs on it else I would think about getting it

  9. dam ya i thought you could see the posts i have 800d case and psu looking for motherboard/cpu/gfx mainly the best of the best in the categories performance best i mean price reasonable for the performance have a 1500 max trying for 1000 though
  10. if you could show me another build i would love you i have seen a few and im still hesitant on the motherboard and gfx card i want the best one in the 580 category
  11. Whats your monitor Res this link below may help you see more clearly

    http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/292?vs=306
  12. The parts are choosed are the bst of the best for price/performance I pretty sure everyone would agree if more commenters would come around lol
  13. 1920x1080
  14. but i would have to figure out what i would need im not really knowledgable on the compatibility of stuff or i would gladly figure this out myself im slowly learning but still have alot ot learn
  15. shoot forgot to tell you i have hard drive /dvd drive i was wondering why you posted that also forgot it on my last post
  16. Best answer
I would still stick with the 6970 and crossfire when you need the extra performance plus it is OC'ed already with great cooling capabilities. If I had to build another computer the only thing I would change is an upgrade to the mobo

More USB 3.0 slots! Will last maybe a half a year longer
  17. so what about the set up i posted you think the mobo you posted is better for the upgrade ? Sorry like I said I have had multiple builds shown but that looked like the best one but the mobo seems to have more complaints then praise
  18. The link you posted for MoBo is broken so I cant really tell which is better
  19. all the links are definately working that is the build i was shown but the mobo is questionable and i dont know if the 580 is the best out of all the ones that are for sale on newegg cuz i want the best one if im gonna spend that kind of money
  20. The mobo you chose has more USB slots besides that I see no real difference when it comes to gaming
  21. the difference i see is the number of complaints 2nd what ram do you think i should get with the build you see posted
  22. the RAM I posted in my build will also work they are both 240 pin compatiable
  23. those the best ones for the build my current ones are MEM 2Gx2|GSKILL F3-12800CL7D-4GBECO not good for the build im gonna be setting up huh cuz if i dont have to get ram might get a ssd
  24. is DDR3 1600 and 1.5V, if it is then good to go get that SSD, RAM is cheap think about trying ot get it to 8GB as well it helps with speed
  25. so do you think i should get the mobo u suggested it seems like it has less complaints you look at the reviews of the one i link you and 2 nd what ssd do you think i shoudl get if i get one
  26. sorry trying to order this all before 12 so i can get it before the weekend
  27. The mobo is completely up to you I see very little difference in them. Hands down the Crucial M4 SSD is the way to go
  28. do you think im better off waiting for a deal on the crucial i have seen a few with 50+ dollars off
  29. 2nd do you know alot about gtx 580s
  30. Not that much but if you talking about which GPUs are better use the website below to see which performs better.
    http://www.anandtech.com/bench/GPU11/188
  31. 3rd lol sorry im so lost you think the 100$ extra is worth the i7 2600 instead the i72500 im so sorry for these retarded questions
  32. can i msg you in private message
  33. Best to keep msgs on the board so others may see and also comment (not everyone is perfect :p) I would stick with the i5 very little difference in gaming performance
  34. Its good as well but I would still stick with ASRock the company has proven its self to become a big contender in the mobo area besides that I see no issues or complaints with the Asus board you picked
  35. can you link me a decently priced power supply thats quiet and is 900 watts +
  36. do you think my power supply i have a 750 watt i think can handle http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130665 plust the other stuff i got
  37. My weak point is PSUs but yes I THINK it will but you can always upgrade the PSU to an 850 just incase you want to SLI down the road
  38. thank you will talk to you tomorrow let you know what i did
  39. no problem, dont be afraid to ask more questions I asked a lot when I first attempted to do my first build and it turned out great and still is a beast a year later
  40. you on emelth

  42. everything sounds like its running by the way fan on the graphics card is runing
  43. No doesnt sound like a GPU issue, go through make sure everything is hooked up correctly. Are lights coming on in the motherboard?
