I'm putting together a new build over the course of this month, taking advantage of all the "Black November" deals that Newegg has to offer. My question is, how much wattage will I require to run it safely.
CPU: Intel Core i5-2500K Sandy Bridge 3.3GHz (3.7GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Intel Core i5-2500K Sandy Bridge 3.3GHz (3.7GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor
I plan to overclock the CPU to at least 4GHz
GPU: I'll be going with a GTX 560 Ti of some type. Whichever good brand (ie EVGA) has the best deal over the course of this month.
I do not plan to SLI at any time in the future.
So ya, if anyone could recommend a power supply, or at least a wattage, I'd really appreciate it. (I'll be going with a solid brand. I'm partial to Corsair, or Seasonic)
Thanks a ton!
-Patrick
p.s. I should mention that Corsair is having a 15% sale on all of their power supplies until the end of today. (Good deal? Or do you think there will be better prior to Novembers end?)
Thanks again!
