My processor just died on my computer I built four years ago so I guess its about time to build a new one. I am going to be using the system for gaming mostly playing games such as Skryrim, WoW, and BF3. I am going to be keeping my monitor which is 1680 x 1050, I believe. I will also be keeping a HDD and the disk drive so no I am not forgetting those. I will be overclocking the cpu, but I do not have much experience with ram or gpu so I probably will not venture into that. I would appreciate any feed back that you may have on the current system I have chosen. I am dropping a boat load of money on this so please help me out :D

i5-2500k ( no diff with the i7-2600k when it comes to gaming)
asrock z68 extreme3 gen3 (futere proofing for ivy bridge)
A GTX 560ti can easily max any games at that res.

Plan to SLI or something? If no. Get a Corsair CX600 so that you can be able to put any single card available in the world.

Thanks for the quick response. I forgot to say that I would like the system to be somewhat future proof, and as soon as I get enough money again I will be buying a new monitor so I do need something that can handle higher resolutions. I do not plan to sli atm, but I may in the future. I assume ivy bridge the next step for processors. Is it not compatible with the p67?

I just looked up some fps benchmarks between 2500 and 2600 and you are right the difference is negligible for the 100 dollar difference. I appreciate the input.
