Hello,
my first build,
some 1155 mb do support 32nm cpu and 22nm cpu and other just 32 nm: maximus IV extreme z and maximus IV gene z/gen3.
My question is: what are this 22nm-are they ivy bridge? and if yes, does this mean ivy bridge (the ones that are coming in april) will be using lga 1155?

Solution
The Z-68 chipsets motherboards will be backwards compatible with Ivy Bridges at first. Then when they switch to Ivy Bridges -E they will switch to socket 2011. So as long as it's a Z68 motherboard it will accepth both the Sandy Bridge/ Sandy Bridge -E and the first class of Ivy Bridges.

socket 1155 = sandy bridge/ivy bridge

socket 2011 = sand bridge -extreme and ivy bridge -extreme
