Just a question regarding compatibility.

I'am building my first ever PC, a low budget starter gaming PC, and was about to finish the build by buying my case and ram, i just needed to make sure i have this right before i place my order...

My mother board manual says it supports DDR3 dual channel memory, so are those the only things i need to look out for when shopping for memory compatibility wise?

Post the rest of your specs! Memory speed is another category to look at, if it is Intel lga 1155 then it is important that the ram is 1.5 volts.

There are some restrictions in using RAM. Both slots could use same or different RAM units. Dealers in RAM units could suggest the best combination which can be used as per the specific details about the system in use.
