Complete n00b overclocking question

I have an intel i5 2320. I saw this review about it on newegg:

"Pros: Even though it isn't a K it can still be OC'd with the Turbo mode. I have it at 3.7ghz which it will run all day long with the stock heat sink about 67c at max load on all 4 cores for hours.

Cons: Wish it was cheaper but hey isn't that with everything."

Question 1: How do I get turbo boost to set the clock speed at ~3.7ghz?

Question 2: Is 67c a dangerous temperature?

Thank you very much for helping a n00b

1) Its not an unlocked processor so you're not going to really be able to overclock it, not to the same degree as an unlocked processor. At most it will only overclock a few hundred MHz. So if it runs at 3.2 GHz stock it might only over clock to 3.4 or 3.5 compared to an I5 2500k that can overclock to 4.5 GHz.

2) 67 degrees is pretty high IMO. I would get an aftermarket fan/heatsink even for minor overclocking.

67 is a bit lower than average so really no problems there. The CPU has auto turbo boost so when you're running a game or something, it turns up the clock speed so that you have better FPS.

67 is not average and I would not want my CPU running in the high 60's under load. My I5 at idle would run in the high teens to low 20's at idle. Unload it would average around 37 to 42 degrees.

Are you kidding me? You would have to get delta fans with 2 QUAD rads to meet that (or just a very low-end CPU with no OC). 70 to 80 is about average these days so 67 C is pretty good on load.

I would guess he hasnt oc'd at all?

I haven't OC'd yet. How would I overclock it without the BIOS.

just set the multiplier higher, because its not K you can only go +4 steps, I think turbo then goes on top of that
