I have crucial 667 mhz ram.

I have just finished overclocking my e6750 to 3.6ghz. If i change the ram multiplyer(not sure if that is what it is) so the ram runs at a speed very close to 667 the computer gets stuck at windows loading screen, but if i leave it at 876 mhz it loads up fine.

What im wondering is if this is ok or can i expect to have to get some new ram?

Thanks in advance :)

Generally for 100% assurace it's usually been said to run it for a full day. But really at the least you should run it for a few hours.

Sometimes it takes a while for errors to show.

That's just a mesurement of how many floating point operations a computer can do, has nothing to do with stress testing though.
