I would appreciate some advice on an all-in-one (NON-GAMING) AMD build. Basically just for photo, video, surfing etc.

Components NOT needed:

Mouse&KB
Monitor
HDD
SSD
DVD

Thank you for your time :bounce:

Like that it totals $500
The on board graphics are fine for everyday use , but you may want to add a discrete graphics card . Pretty much anything around the $70 mark with the right connectors is the answer .

Thanks for your feedback Outlander_04

But upon further research I have come up with these components;)

CPU: AMD FX-4100 ($130)

MOBO: ASRock 990FX Extreme3 AM3+ ($130)

GPU: Gigabyte Radeon HD 6770 GV-R677SL-1GD ($130)

PSU: Seasonic S12II 380 80PLUS Bronze Certified ($70)

RAM: Kingston HyperX T1 Series 4GB 2x2GB ($50)

CASE: In-Win BUC ($100)

GRAND TOTAL: $610+TAX=$689.30+S&H $50= $739.30

"Which is only $40 over budget" :D

Your processor is weaker

the mb needelessly expensive , in that it has features designed to enhance gaming that you will never use

your RAM needs to be 1.5 volt or less , or it may damage the processor

you have included a reasonably powerful gaming graphics card
