I'm in the process of switching cellular phone carriers. Can someone
please recommend a phone that works with T-mobile which:

1) First and foremost is a good phone. It must have excellent
reception and voice quality, have a easy to dial keypad and be easy to
hold against one's face when speaking.

2) Has bluetooth and can iSync with a Mac (without using a cable, like
the Motorola phones).

3) Be fairly small and compact so that it is fairly portable.

The Sony-Ericcsons have excellent BT implementation, but T-mobile only
provides the 610 model, which according to the reviews at
phonescoop.com does not get good reception. Phonescoop.com reviews
also indicate that while the Motorla V600 is an excellent phone, it's
BT is not fully supported by iSync.

Can owners provide recommendations of phones that fulfill these
criteria?

TIA

I've been using a SE610 for almost nine months and using it with iSync
the whole time. Overall, the bluetooth synching has been great. I also
have the HB65 BT headset as well.

Overall, reception has been good and blame the poor reception more on
T-mobiles towers than the phone. I get great reception in Italy,
Germany and Austria. In the US it has been really good except for some
areas where around where I live that have dead zones for t-mobile. I
live in the metrowest area of Massachusetts and there are some definite
dead zones along the mass pike and 495.

Thanks. I don't doubt that the SE 610 is a well-designed phone and
operates well
within specifications. However, I am looking for a phone that has
outstanding
radio performance in order to compensate for T-Mobile's spotty
coverage.
