After looking around quite a bit for a solution, I haven't found any solutions, hopefully someone here has some insight into this issue.
I've had the 11.5 drivers installed for sometime even after 11.6, 11.7, and 11.8 were released because I simply can't install the new drivers.
I've uninstalled all of the software related to ATI including the install manager several times, inside of and outside of safe mode, but to no avail.
Everytime I try installing any version of the drivers more recent than 11.5, it says that warnings occurred during the installation and when I check the software info in the ATI control panel, it reports the 11.5 drivers.
When I click on view report after the installation, it reports everything as successfully installed.
Windows reports my driver version as being 8.850.0.0
Anyone know what's going on here? Do I really have 11.8 installed but it's just not showing up? Or is there something much different going on
