Quick Motherboard Upgrade Question.

I am a newb when it comes to building. I want to know if I build a PC now with the ASRock B75M-DGS used that for say a year and wanted to upgrade my PC, would I have to do anything other than install it, i.e. reinstall windows, buy a new CPU or anything like that? Or would everything still work?

I know, I meant would I need to get a new CPU if I changed motherboards, or can I take the old one and use it in the new motherboard. As for windows I didn't know if I would need new drivers or something like that for a new motherboard.

Depends on when you upgrade the cpu. The lifecycle of cpus/boards is much smaller now.
