Geforce GTX 590 3GB Speed~

Hi everyone

I am going to buy a geforce gtx 590, i jst want to ask a probably silly question but is it considerable faster than my GTX 295?

I have seen the stats and bench, but would like a one on one response?

gtx 590 is faster than the gtx 295 by specs . But it depends upon your display set up i.e resolution and the games settings u r playing . I mean if you are playing lower than 2560*1600 resolution in maximum settings you'd hardly notice any difference

The GTx 590 is of course faster... The GTx 295 is GDDR3 and 590 is GDDR5...
590 got more Memory Bandwidth(Because GDDR5) & better Pixel Rate
295 is better at Texel Rate

EDIT: If you want a high-end Videocard, this video card is my recommendation as 590 are kinda weak... Either get this one(580) or the 590:
