Memory is running at 1333 instead of 1866

My setup is asus p8p67 mb with i7 2600 and vengence 1866 4 gig mem. I've tried changing the memory speed to 1866 in the bios but the computer crashes. Are there any other settings to change?

More about memory running 1333 1866
  1. No. 1600 is the max for most Intel boards, but some only run at 1333 such as my h61 asus board. Don't try for more than 1600 in manual mode.
