Hi Guys,

I'm building a new system, and want to use this memory:

G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2133 (PC3 17000) Desktop Memory Model F3-17000CL9D-8GBXM

with this motherboard:

ASRock Z68 PROFESSIONAL GEN3 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Here is the motherboard's compatible memory list:
http://www.asrock.com/mb/memory.asp?Model=Fatal1ty%20Z6...

I'm confused - the model is like 80% correct, but the last trailer seems different.... I can't find any model that exactly matches. Can anyone help?

Thanks!
Timothy

"where could I have looked to have known that?"

If it's not stated in the MB manual, then it comes down to general knowledge of the Sandy Bridge platform.

"neither of those two shows up in the list on the mobo page"
The manufacturer can't test every piece of RAM out there.
