sound card doesn't work anymore

I have a microstar 6126 motherboard with built-in sound (yamaha stuff) and a built in VGA (ATI rage 3D pro), but with a voodoo 3 pci and a pci modem. I upgraded my bios, so i could use a celeron 333 processor (with cache) instead of my old 266 (without cache). But with the new bios and the new processor, my onboard sound system isn't detected anymore by windows. How can i make it work again?

When you upgraded your bios the default may have been to disable onboard sound. Go into bios and make sure that onboard sound is enabled!
