Here is my issue that I can't seem to find a good answer for..... I have an older hp computer- the max memory is 4gb, which i added a few years back. I want to be able to help it run faster by adding more memory but I am already maxed out. Do I just need to upgrade motherboard along with memory to do this, or is there other items that I will need to change. Can I add a faster processor etc? Don't really know alot but wondered if anyone can help....... thanks rick

You can only upgrade to a cpu that works with that boards chipset , probably best to buy a new comp , even if you get a faster cpu it will still be bogged by 4gb max mem and other components on that MB . .
