For $300 the GTX570 has a great performance to cost ratio.It's more powerful than the 6950 and is more on par with the 6970.Of course for $300 you would have to go with a reference model,if you don't mind.The 6950 Inzone linked has a very good aftermarket cooler and would be the better choice if cool temps is what you would prefer.

570 for sure! beats the 6950 and the 6970 ( in some benchmarks/games ). You can pick up 570 for around 310 - 340.

I can't understand why you would pay $300 for a 6950 when you can get the 1G version for $210.As well as paying $300 for the 6950 when you can get the GTX570 for that price.The reference GTX570 I linked is $290 after MIR.
