Solution
I don't see a case for an AMD build over $800...other than the OS and the GFX, I'd go another way .... 2500k w/ Gen3 MoBo, non "green" HD, XFX Core Edition PSU and better case:

I'm $45 over budget but if ya a student, you oughta be paying no more than $10-25 for OS.

Case - $ 70 - Antec 300 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129066
PSU - $ 90 - XFX Core Edition 850 V2 PSU http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817207011
MoBo - $ 170 - GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128498
CPU - $ 220 - Intel Core i5-2500K http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115072
RAM - $ 50 - (2 x 4GB) Corsair CAS 9...
