Sysaid mailbox

Any idea how I would set up a mailbox on an SBS Enterprise system for use of SysAid so the local users could send me help requests via the system? XP 2003 Enterprise

  1. Hi
Please note that if you wish to define an inbox that will convert your incoming mail into service requests/incidents - that can be done from the application from :
    >>Preferences>>Integration>>Email > click add or modify an exiting email inbox

You can select one of the following protocols :POP3, MAPI or IMAP
Specify the mail server host name
    Your user/email and password
If you are using a secure SSL - Mark the relevant checkbox.
Please verify that the following ports are opened :
    For POP3 - port 110
    for IMAP - port 143
    For Secure IMAP (IMAP4-SSL) - port 585
For IMAP4 over SSL (IMAPS) - port 993
    For Secure POP3 (SSL-POP) - port 995
    For MAPI 135
