I just bought new Corsair Vengeance 8gb DDR3 1600 memory, my question is can I run this memory and my existing Corsair XMS 4gb DDR3 1600? The only difference is the latency of the new Vengeance is 10-10-10-27 and my old XMS is 9-9-9-24. I've had no luck finding this answer myself. Any help is appreciated.

Yes. Just install in pairs and set your memory to default/auto in your BIOS (if not already set). Not a problem.

BTW, setting to AUTO will let the motherboard negotiate suitable settings for the 2 pairs of memory.

Great info and answer, thanks a lot. Going to run a few 3dmark11 then see if this boosts me at all. Wanna get this in before I put my 7950 in, see how much memory actually effects performance.
