Hi,

I have this MB:
ASUS P7H55-M PRO
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

And I want to buy this RAM:
Kingston HyperX XMP Blu Red Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 Desktop Memory Model KHX16C9B1RK2/8X
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

I am wondering if it will run on my MB on 1600Mhz, I checked my MB QVL, and this RAM is not listed, but according to the specs, it might work.

Would be great if any can confirm this...

It will run on 1066Mhz by default setting and you need to set it in the BIOS.

I know that, but can my BIOS handle it? I have not done this before so that's why I am asking.

Yes. If you don't know how to do it, google is your friend.

So, you mean my BIOS can handle this memory on 1600MHz?

I was checking the specs of this ram in Kingston website:
http://media.kingston.com/pdfs/HyperX_Red_US.pdf

And I can see that my MB chipset (H55) is not listed in the compatible list of chipset of this series. I am not sure if this is true or they just missed it in the website!

One more thing, in my BIOS, in DRAM voltage settings, I can see 1.6v or 1.7v, I mean I can't see 1.65v, will this be a problem?

You better set it to the "auto", but you can set to 1.6V too. In theory you should use the 1.5V RAM, because if you use the 1.65V RAM and if the CPU has the problem, then intel wil void your warranty maybe.
