Cant connect computer to internet

I just installed my motherboard and after powering it on and connected my ethernet cable to it, it did not work. I then installed the motherboard's drivers using the disc but still nothing.

Make sure you install the LAN drivers from the CD. That will install the base drivers, then you go to your MOBO manufacturers website and download the most recent LAN drivers
