Graphics Cards Inspiron 560

I am considering putting a 1GB Asus GTS 450 DirectCU OC, 40nm,3800MHz GDDR5, GPU 850MHz Shader 1700MHz 192 Cores, DVI/HDMI graphics card on this machine. I have a 650 PSU.

Will it work OK?

  1. it's a good mid range card.
it'll work on 650w psu if it is a good branded one.

but what do u want to do (eg, gaming, or ??)
    what's ur monitor resolution
    what's ur budget
and the rest of the system spec?

The card would work fine, IMO it has enough power to even run a HD6950

Thanks, I'll put that in the mix for consideration.
  6. yes, your system is quite good for gts 450.

if u have some more cash, should consider the higher cards.

of 6670 for nearly the same price with higher GPU power.
  7. sorry

    6770 dude.

    :)
  8. I have the evga 450 in my inspiron 560 and it runs pretty good, no complaints. but if i could have the money back i would've gotten the 6770/5770 its a better card for only like 10 bucks more. And it will run with a 650w psu. im running it with a crappy cm extreme plus 500w. if you want to see gameplay ill link to it.
